The Balfour and District Business and Historical Association (BDBHA) is pleased to announce the completion of the first two projects aimed at making the experience of using St. Michael and All Angels’ Chapel and Performance Center more convenient and friendly. First project completed was a wheelchair accessible ramp and a new entrance-way along the north side of the Chapel. In conjunction with the wheelchair ramp, it was decided to complete some needed electrical upgrades and install safety lighting. These projects were funded in large measure from grants received from the Regional District of Central Kootenay through its Community Development Program and from the Columbia Basin Trust’s Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs.
